Summer = Wolverine, Justin Timberlake, and the art of being a badass

I’ve been nominated for a Summer Sun Award by Jane Hunt, author of the soon to be released romance, The Dragon Legacy.

To accept the award, I agree to display the sunshine logo, link back to the blog of Jane, the person who nominated me, answer the sunshine questions below and nominate another blogger for each sun-ray, eight in total to receive the award, tell them they’ve been tagged and display their blog link.

Favorite song with summer in the title or the words (give the line) Summer Love Justin Timberlake It’s the perfect song for my upcoming and final summer release, The Cowboy Rode a Harley when JT sings, “…cause I can’t wait to fall with you…this just can’t be summer love.”

New book about summer So hard to pinpoint just one. But I’m going for one that’s non-fiction. Jen Sincero YOU are a BADASS.

Favorite hot summer film The Wolverine.
I am oh-so-a Super Heroes freak fanatic. If I where younger I’d play with the action figures…for now I play with them in my head.

Favorite summer memory Teaching my daughter how to swim. She’d just watched The Little Mermaid and said, “Look I can swim.” Within ten minutes, by golly she demonstrated she could. She was only four and it took my breath away to see her swimming under the water on the deep side of the pool.

Favorite summer holiday destination- Bimini and diving. The water is aqua-marine and there’s two sides you can swim on when there’s sandbars. So freaking different sea side and ocean side. Want to swim with real sharks…go to Bimini.

What books will be in your suitcase this summer? Well, I’m going to get my hands on the next release of Aimee Duffy cause I’m a secret agent spy. *LOL* Then there Skies of Gold by Zoe Archer. Conquer Your Love by J.C. Reed, and I was blindsided by Laurel Curtis with Impossible. Not my typical read but I was pleasantly surprised. I’m excited to begin Lick by Kylie Scot—what goes down in Vegas type of molten rock romance. Another find is Sapphire Kande’s work on scorching erotica, and I’ve seized Molly’s Sexual Curse. I’m keeping room open for Anastasia Ryan’s new adult release and Jane Hunt’s smexy PNR. So, I think I might need a suitcase on coasters if it weren’t for the Kindle Fire. Now I can just tuck-n-roll my way into oblivion.

What’s your likely destination this summer? I’m doing the to-and-fro around the city (I live near Nashville) with my daughter coming into town each week for a grad school internship and another child going off to college. Then, with three releases this summer, it’s been rather…hectic to say the least.

What hottie would you most like to be sharing the hot days and long nights with this summer? I’ve my own special hero, a motocross riding hottie I like to call my own. My husband,  Doug is my inspiration, sounding board, and in-house therapist. So many hats for one man. He wears them all well!

Eight bloggers. I know so many people have been named and if you have, well here's another vote for your amazing abilities.
