Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf Opens on Broadway

Returning to Broadway after it first appeared 50 years ago. Steppenwolf Theater Company’s revival of Edward Albee’s  "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf"  opens tonight, October 13, 2012.

Directed by Pam MacKinnon and starring Tracy Letts as George. Mr. Letts' s performance is described as undercover superb. The kind of superb experience that comes at you from the side and then the "aha" takes over.  Amy Morton appears as Martha, antagonist to Mr. Letts and expect nothing less from Ms. Morton, Tony-nominated actress reknown for her performance in August.

"Letts and Morton face off as George and Martha, one of theatre’s most notoriously dysfunctional couples in Albee’s hilarious and provocative masterpiece. They are joined by Carrie Coon and Madison Dirks as the unwitting young couple invited over to George and Martha’s for an unforgettable night of cocktails and crossfire." http://virginiawoolfbroadway.com/about/about/
