Secret Desire: Spanking Good Time.

SECRET DESIRE. Vanilla journalist writes erotica by night.

He grabbed her hair, pins dropping onto the desk, flying onto the carpet, and he yanked, driving his rod back in her. She found no place to hide. He was forcing her to open, to let go and let him take care of her needs. He alternated between caressing her ass cheek to a hard-handed spank several more times until she lost count. "No more," she said.
"Quite right." (Thorton said.)
"Please." The shocking sensation of pain exhausted the emotional walls she had erected.

  1. Hi Susan, Welcome to Saturday Spankings. Intriguing post. I can't tell if the spanking was being written by the vanilla journalist, or if she's experiencing it first hand. I get the feeling she's writing it. I'll have to check into Secret Desire a little further to find out, since inquiring minds definitely want to know more.

    1. I tried to keep my post brief but I guess a bit of set up is required. This excerpt is from the Claire's story. This type of fiction is known as metafiction (A story within a story that examines an societal issue: writing erotic romance post-Fifty Shades.) and was way too much fun to write. The story hit close to home examining if a erotic romance author would choose to go sans a pen name or not. I decided to come out naked from the erotica closet as did the heroine. Thank you for stopping by and taking a peek%^)

  4. Hi Susan. I had the same initial reaction as Kathryn, but I read the blurb and checked out Secret Desire on Amazon. I downloaded the sample. So much of this intrigues me, because of the parallels in my own life. I used to live in Seattle, used to be a newspaper reporter (although not in Seattle), and of course, I wrote erotica on the side. I used a similar story premise (the story the reporter doesn't want to get published, does get published) in one of my books and I'm curious to see how you handled it.

    1. I loved the idea that Stephen King used in Secret Window Secret Garden about a fractured psyche, a writer, metafiction. I employed a polar twin sister to push the psychosis card along with the infamous imaginary writer's critic. It was a hoot to use a twin/critic who could say and do the things the heroine couldn't. Of course her sister has her own story for her crusty personality. SD was originally written as a tiny novella, picked up and then expanded. Like Christopher Walken with more cow bell in SNL, the editor wanted more heat. So there you some of what went on inside the imagination factory.

  5. Nice to see a new face here on Saturday Spanks. I love the emotional walls barrier reference here. Looks like another TBR for me in Secret Desire...
